Year 2 CW and CF 2020 - 2021

Year 2  2020 - 2021

Welcome to Y2

Mrs Carr, Mrs Cashmore, Mrs Foster and Mrs Wharton would like to thank all the children for a great start to our school year, they have all done some fabulous learning!  The children have settled into class amazingly well and have picked up the new routines beautifully.

This half term our topic is called Real Life Superheroes.  We will be finding out about people, past and present, in our community and in the wider world who we think are superheroes. The children will be thinking about what makes them so special and how do we know they are superheroes. We will be looking at lots of films, photos and books to find out about their lives.

In Science, we will be learning all about how to keep fit and healthy. This will include work on exercise, food and hygiene.

In DT the children will be learning how to make a cloak for a superhero, using their sewing skills!

If you have any questions or queries, please email school and your emails will be forwarded onto the appropriate class. We will do our best to reply to emails as soon as we can.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Carr, Mrs Cashmore, Mrs Foster and Mrs Wharton
